Design & Customization

Make the consent banner match your brand. LiteConsent offers extensive design controls without requiring any code changes.

Colors

Customize the background, text, and button colors for your banner. Choose from preset color schemes or define exact hex values. The banner preview updates in real-time as you adjust colors.

Layout

Choose where and how the banner appears:

  • Bottom bar: Full-width bar at the bottom of the page
  • Bottom stacked: Full-width bar at the bottom with stacked button layout
  • Bottom-left popup: Compact popup in the bottom-left corner
  • Bottom-right popup: Compact popup in the bottom-right corner
  • Bottom popup: Compact popup centered at the bottom
  • Center popup: Centered modal overlay

Fonts

Use any Google Font or upload your own custom font files. Select a font family and size preset in the Design tab. Custom fonts are served from your LiteConsent CDN and won't impact page load speed. Pro plans include up to 3 custom fonts, and Business plans include up to 10.

Border radius and animations

Control the corner rounding of the banner and buttons independently. Choose from entrance animations including fade, bounce, slide-up, slide-right, slide-left, scale, and none.

Toggle styles

Customize the style of the category toggles in the preferences panel. Available styles: round, square, pill, and checkbox.

Font size presets

Choose from four font size presets: small (12px), medium (15px), large (17px), and xlarge (20px).

Backdrop

Optionally show a backdrop overlay behind the banner to draw attention. Configure the opacity, color, and blur level.

Cookie icon

After a visitor makes their choice, a small floating cookie icon can appear in the corner of the page. Clicking it reopens the consent preferences. You can control the position and color scheme of this icon.

Banner templates

For advanced customization, create custom banner templates with your own HTML and CSS. Templates use Mustache syntax for dynamic content (category names, descriptions, button labels). Manage templates in the Templates section of the dashboard. Pro plans include up to 3 custom templates, and Business plans include up to 10. See the Custom Templates guide for the full reference.
